Can Play provides adapted recreational sports and skills programs suitable for all ages and abilities. These programs are designed to meet the unique requirements of individuals with disabilities, including physical, cognitive, emotional, developmental, and neurodiverse conditions (autism), as well as those utilizing wheelchairs or walkers. Can Play’s programs modify pace, equipment, and structure to establish a secure, positive, and accessible environment. Participants will enhance their social engagement skills and improve their confidence by enjoying activities with teammates and coaches. Programs
Preschool Adapted Programs
Age: 3 – 6 years old
For our toddler and pre-school ages, we focus on building motor skills through tumbling, music and movement, art and dance programs.
School-age Adapted Programs
Age: 7 – 12 years old
For school age children, our adapted programs focus on teamwork, learning adaptations for various sports and fitness, listening and social skills. Participants go at their own pace and have many opportunities to play the game in an environment designed for them.
Teens and Young Adult Adapted Programs
Age: 13 years and older
In our teen and young adult programs, we focus not only on adaptive sports and fitness, but social development and interactions as well. These skills can be applied in settings like school and work, and gives participants an enriching community of peers.
Active Adults Adapted Programs
Age: Adults 18 years and older
Whether you are 19 or 99, living an active lifestyle is important for quality of life. Our Active Adult programs allow individuals at all stages of life and abilities to partake in group fitness, sports, social activities and more.
